Capture your screen — a tab, a window or the whole display — with microphone audio if you want it. No software to install, and the video is created on your device, never uploaded.
Works best on a computer with Chrome or Edge. Most phone browsers don't allow screen recording yet — if yours can't, you'll see a message above instead. When your browser asks what to share, pick a tab, window or the entire screen. Recordings are saved as WebM video.
Tick the microphone option if you want your voice included, then tap Start recording.
Your browser shows a picker — choose a browser tab, a window, or your whole screen, then Share.
Tap Stop (or "Stop sharing" in the browser bar), preview the video, and download it.
No. The recording is captured and assembled entirely in your browser tab, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server — close the tab and the recording is gone unless you downloaded it.
Screen capture (getDisplayMedia) is a desktop browser feature in Chrome and Edge. Most mobile browsers — especially Safari on iPhone — don't expose it to web pages yet, so the tool shows an explanation instead of a dead button.
WebM, the standard format Chrome and Edge record in. It plays in modern browsers and most video players, and can be converted or edited anywhere. If your browser records MP4 instead, the download simply uses that.
In Chrome, when you share a browser tab you can also enable "Share tab audio" in the picker. Whole-screen audio capture depends on your system. Your microphone, if ticked, is always mixed in.
Screen capture uses your browser's built-in sharing picker — this page can only record what you choose to share, and only after you press Share. The video is built locally in this tab; nothing is uploaded or stored by us.
