Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know before converting.

Is this PDF to JPG converter really free?

Yes — completely free, with no watermarks and no sign-up. Convert as many PDFs as you like, one file at a time.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your web browser using PDF.js. Your file is never uploaded, stored or shared — it stays on your device from start to finish.

What is the difference between 150, 200 and 300 DPI?

DPI controls how sharp the images are. 150 DPI is fine for sharing on screen, 200 DPI is a good all-round choice, and 300 DPI gives print-quality images at a larger file size.

Should I choose JPG or PNG?

JPG files are smaller and ideal for photos, scans and sharing. PNG keeps every detail perfectly sharp and supports crisp text, but the files are bigger. One toggle applies to all pages.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

No — password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can’t be opened in the browser. Remove the password in your PDF app first, then convert it here.
